Business-to-Business (B2B) telemarketing is much different than other forms of telemarketing such as Business-to-Consumer (B2C) or services provided by an inbound call center.

When the goal of B2B telemarketing is appointment setting, lead generation, or even event registration, callers perform best when working together as a team in a corporate environment. It is very difficult to be isolated in a remote or home location and consistently generate positive results when calling business decision makers.

If the primary responsibility of a call center agent is to provide customer service via inbound calls, this is a relatively easy task which can be accomplished remotely, but think about all the variables involved in B2B appointment setting.
